Rumor has it another nice pronghorn buck bit the dust in Wyoming today.

Ok, it's not a rumor, I saw it happen.;)

Unfortunately, no WY buck tag for me this year. I had to get my "fix" with a couple of doe tags. I shot this one yesterday at about 100 yards after a grueling stalk.

She was quite a trophy, complete with ivory-tipped horns and cutters. I thought about measuring her for the Fantasy Hunt. :D

Today we whipped another dirty sneak on a herd of about 15, and one shot at 120 yards ended the hunt.

Good job and nice photos. What good are the horns anyway? At least deer and elk antlers can be used as a hat rack. Someday I will go back to Wyoming and I plan to buy as many doe pronghorn tags as they will allow.
