I have grown to dislike composite stocks. I have a stainless Browning A-bolt that I’m thinking about getting a wood stock for. Who makes a nice traditional looking wood stock to fit it? Has anybody else done this or seen one? I’d love to see pictures.

I haven’t seen an a bolt but the x bolt white medallions sure are pretty and the Remington stainless fluted looked good in walnut. You can build a pretty nice stock through Boyd’s reasonably or you could stick with synthetic and go mcwoody

Here is one that I just did. FN Mauser with new PacNor stainless barrel, prone brake and cerakoted by Gunner's. The stock is the original so the action is bedded. Had to take out all the bedding from the old barrel channel.
