Can someone tell me how to mark way points on my on x map while in base camp? Thank you in advance.

The waypoint will not save to OnXMaps chip per se, it would save to your unit's internal memory. To do that:
1. Create waypoint and add it to the list that you are working with, ie. "Old Man's Mule Deer Trip 2016"
2. On the upper left part of your screen, right click on your list and click on "Send To"
3. A little screen will pop up, and you will want to scroll down until you see "Devices". Look under that for a folder for "Internal Memory". Click there and it will send it to your GPS.
4. You can disconnect your GPS and check to see if its there before going out into the woods.
