Washington velvet mulie

I posted a picture of this guy a week or so back through my spotting scope. I spent 7 days, with 11 sightings, and 3 close encounters before it all came together. The buck came under me at 14 yards where he was double lunged by the PSE. He went to the bottom of the canyon to die, but the work was worth it. He measured 27 and 1/2 wide, and the full velvet is cool. The best part of the whole hunt was in 7 days, the buck never saw or smelt me. He still didn't know even after the arrow hit him.

I plan on hunting eastside near Rimrock, Wa. during modern. Camped over there last spring and had them walking through camp.
