VX-5HD vs VX-6HD Turret System

Anyone know if they have the same turret system? I have heard from several people the original VX-6 had some tracking/repeatability issues but that the new VX-6HD has an updated turret design and has so far proven itself. I’ve got my eye on a 3-15 VX-5.

I have a VX6 (not HD) on my main big game rifle. Never had an issue with tracking.

I’ve been told they’re the same. The 5 is basically a 6 minus a few bells and whistles

Have the new 5 and the old 6. Both track trusty. The 5 has the zero stop...I’m still ciphering the operational aspect of it. Can’t tell any diff in optical quality but I’m trying to convince myself the HD designation means better. Have the 3/15/44 in the 5 & let the parallax spook me at first but it’s a non issue. Great glass both.
