Selling my custom 7 SAUM tikka.
-Tikka Stainless Long Action – Trued and face taper removed. Rem style recoil lug pinned to action.
-Krieger 8.5 twist, #4 contour but with meat on the muzzle to support 5/8” muzzle threads. 22” finish length.
-Krieger was chambered by TSCustoms to shoot the heavies. 0.320” neck (no turn with all brass I’m aware of) and 0.200 freebore. They also cerakoted it to match the action.
-Kiwi Composites bush hunter carbon fiber stock with gunsmith spartan bipod adapter up front. Pillars added and skim bedded by HCA. This has a very poorly executed multi-cam hydro dip that you can see in the pictures, thus the lousy finish is not earned through extensive use/abuse as it may appear. The rifle was peeling already when I first received it and HCA didn’t want to send it out that way but I had a sheep hunt coming up and didn’t have time to wait for it to be redone so I told him to send it that way. The butt stock peeling is primarily from taping on some foam to raise the comb of the stock. I’m not much for spending $ on aesthetics but this could be easily remediated by stripping it down and re-dipping or painting.
-Mountain Tactical bottom metal
-2 HCA WSM/SAUM magazines, 1 Mountain tactical WSM long action mag
-Lighter trigger spring (don’t recall which)
-MBM beast ti brake – not currently timed right, I think I’ve got some shims around here somewhere and could try to address that if buyer desires.
I initially had this rifle built by HCA with a carbon barrel. I was never fully satisfied with the precision and consistency of the barrel so I had TS Customs chamber the Krieger for it. It now shoots like you’d expect a well built SAUM to shoot. I’d say I have 150’ish rounds on the current barrel, just primarily break in rounds without load dev and it has shot 180 bergers, 175 ELDs, and 145 CEB lazers well without fuss. Carbon barrel in pictures has been sold separately.
$1700 Rifle only, shipped from non-FFL to FFL in the lower 48. If receiving FFL requires to be shipped from FFL the associated costs will be added to the price. I accept venmo, paypal F&F or buyer pay fees, and am open to other methods.
Other things available to buyer:
I also have near 200 pieces of ADG brass with 1-3 firings on it.
Redding FL bushing, Hornady FL Bushing, and Redding type S micrometer seating dies.
Modified case for Hornady OAL tool
Giraud bench trimmer case holder
Sportsmatch rings (on the rifle in pictures)
Also have 180 hybrids, 175 elite hunter, 175 ELDx, 180 ELDm, 162 ELD, and 145 CEB Lazer bullets on hand that I would be happy to sell as this is my only 0.284 bore rifle.
