I remember my dad talking about the pronghorn season of ‘77 or ‘78 in North Dakota.
You couldn’t hunt after 12 noon because of fire concerns. Not sure if it was because of potential incidents like the one you posted, or vehicle related fires.

That’s nuts, I once started a brush fire w a 50 BMG but what are the chances with a arrow.. crazy.
