Gastro Gnome - Eat Better Wherever

T-Bone the Walleye fisherman

I caught my 1st wally 06/22 Thursday evening at Angustora. The kids and I were fishing from shore. The kids were having a blast with catfish and bass and I was pitching a rapala as far out as I could. He measured 15 inches. Very tasty.

The boaters were slaying them in 8-15 ft depths.

That is awesome. Good Job. I have been having a walleye fish fry every saturaday for the last 4 weeks. I catch them on friday night and eat them the next day. Fried Walleye and Corn on the Cobb makes my kids very happy.

Fishing in the Helena area has been phenomenal. I have not landed one but been in the boat for four 10 lb+ wally's including one that 11.99 on a certified scale. All I have is cruddy cell pics of the fish that I will post later (I am websensed here at work so I can't get to my photo gallery).

D4570,

I did really well on tiber in June. Have done pretty well on Frances also. Biggest fish was 6 pounds caught on Frances. Holter has been hit and miss.
Have not been on the river at all. Good hearing from you again.
