Son drawn for Nilgai

I submitted my son for a youth hunt at the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge near South Padre Island in deep South Texas. Got notified friday afternoon that he was selected. The hunt is this coming Friday-Sunday.

What a great draw! Would love to hunt one. THought the cost of a tag was out of sight. Hopefully, a youth tag is reasonable or free.

In short, not worth a damn. Weather was lousy, over a 100 degrees in the afternoons (in March) and the way the hunt was ran left a little, no a lot, to be desired. Didn't see a single critter. Didn't even get any decent pics to share. I guess you get what you pay for. |oo|oo|oo
