Question about hog hunting in Texas

Hello I was wondering as a non resident hunting on public land would I be able to use a 5 day small game license or would I need a full hunting license?

Non-Resident exotic. About $50.00 out of state. Private land, no license needed.

Yep, the 5 day license would work for you, hunters ed is also required.
And, ^^^^ no license for private.

Perfect thank you guys very much I have my hunters ed so I'm good there.I appreciate you letting me know about the private land I don't know anyone out there for private land I will just be driving back on the I-40 for work and wanted to stop somewhere and try my hand at hog hunting.
