Pronghorn Elk?

Funny, I read read that article this morning and never saw the word elk. Guess i need to work on my reading comprehension.
 
I wish pronghorn were as big as elk for the meat yield...that would be awesome!

Nah, you've got it backwards, they are pronghorn sized critters with elk sized antlers. :rolleyes:

YESSSS! I was hoping to find some documentation of this. I heard the entire segment on Yellowstone Public Radio and just grinned thinking about that poor woman reading the script.
+1 for a proposal to some biology funding source to experiment with elk/pronghorn hybridization. This slip could be the best thing that has ever happened to hunters.
