So I have two cans (steel container) of IMR4895 that I purchased back in '99. Cans still look new, no moisture exposure, and have never been opened. Does it pay to use, for load work up and batch run?

Open and give it the sniff test. Smells like ether, load it working up carefully. 4895 has been around forever, but I don't know if the burn rate has changed at all. Smells like dank cardboard, sprinkle it on the grass for fertilizer. Might just keep in mind that because it is so old, loads might not be directly comparable to a new can of 4895.

Sounds good, I forgot about the sniff test... :p

I'm just doing s small batch 100gr Partitions for the Bob this year.
