pike on a fly

No problem, an easy way to do it is make your batter in a 1 gallon zip loc and then give the fillets the "shake and bake" in the bag. Less dishes and way easy if you are camping. The batter should be the thickness of a thin pancake batter.
 
Hem, another easy way to cook pike is just spread some garlic herb butter on the fillets and bake in the oven until they flake. Not as heavy as the fried stuff and way delicious.
