Well Alexis did not get to connect on her first turkey...but she had a great time. We both got to laugh at each other when one of us would step in a hole and fall.

The turkeys had lockjaw this morning, never heard the first gobble. But we sat up where there was good sign...they just never showed.

And as a bonus when were leaving, we saw a VERY nice buck! Guessing I would say 140ish. I was amazed he hadn't dropped his antlers yet being its the end of March.

Glad to hear that you two had a good time. And she still has an opportunity to hunt, but will have to compete with the adults, right?

Yes she will still get to hunt on the regular statewide season. After my draw hunt next weekend...she will go everytime she wants to go.

Has she started calling yet? Maybe she could call in one for Dad.
