Oregon Cascade Elk

Hi fellow adventurers, I need some advice on where to focus my scouting for Oregon Cascade Elk. You see my son and I applied for the east cascade muzzle loader elk hunt and we were surprised to draw the tags but my wife spent several weeks in the hospital this summer and is still trying to get her strength back but left no time to do the research and scouting. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, time is running out. Thankyou

Go west past Diamond lake and hunt the roads on your left.Stay right at the snow line and youll find elk.Where do you live?
