Opening day open water season

And I went ice fishing!! Ice is going downhill fast so I’ll wait till ice off now. Caught a handful of walleye and a few small pike. Also found a home made fire pit that was froze in and left from ice season

Firs ice and last ice are always my favorite! Looks like there is still plenty of ice if you are driving the utv out! Stay safe!

Was 19”. The worst was around where shacks were all winter some holes were opening up there that I could have fallen through. Of course the shoreline was starting to get sketchy. Ice fishing today and it was about 75F here this afternoon. Just crazy lol

During last ice around here there is usually a 2x12 near the landings for getting across open water to the safe ice. A lot of people use a small flat boat too.

Ya I’ll pass up that and just hunt bears instead lol
