Hard to keep Kman's attention these days with all the waterfowl flying around. The kid already has a duck hunting problem to rival mine
. After killing limits of ducks on Sunday I told him we had precious few days to fill out his remaining 3 doe tags. We headed out to a place I knew deer would funnel through on their way to feed in some hay fields.
We had to wait until almost dark but he managed to kill a little doe. Coulda, shoulda, woulda filled my A tag if I had not been so focused on his tag but such is life.
He made a good shot and we had alot of fun just hunting does.
Yes Big Shooter it was on private land and the landowner enjoys having us come out, even came and picked us up and drove us back to our pickup for game retrieval. Nice to know there are still neighborly landowners who enjoy people coming and visiting. Especially letting kids get a chance to learn how to hunt and respect other people's land.
