How do they give out deer tags in Nebraska for nonresidents? Is it OTC or draw for the general season? Just curious, looks like they have some great habitat for mulies and whities. Thanks in advance!

I believe it's OTC for both rifle and muzzleloader. Limited # of tags for rifle per county so they sell out but I think it's unlimited for muzzy. I have hunted both (rifle and muzzy) and yes it is great habitat for mulies and whities.

How much public ground is there? Is it fairly easy to get permission from landowners?I would like to give it a try but need some more info Thanks

Not much public ground where we hunt. It used to be easier to get permission. Seems like lately more and more landowners are leasing their ground to outfitters. At least that is what we found last year. We still were able to obtain permission on some great places, just not as many as normal.
