NC Duck Permits

Yet another year of not drawing. I'm beginning to think NC duck hunting is getting up there with a lot of western big game hunts. Luckily there is still public hunting available without permit. Anyone killed any ducks NC or otherwise yet this year?

NC has quite a few impoundments around the state managed by the wildlife commission and they are on a permit system. One of the most popular a friend of mine is on his 19th year without getting drawn. It seems to have gotten a lot harder to draw since the rise of Duck Dynasty and the sports popularity.

yep...I hear that. I havent hunted in nc, but its a drawing system in california also.
