LOL! How about I take you there personally...as long as you wear a pack frame. There is a nice 6x6 bull I found in there that I just might have a date with on Nov 1st.

Nov 1st ? ELK ? well... At least I know what unit yer hunting

Kill the elk then call me up. I'll be out with my son on the 1st and 2nd tryingto scrounge him up a little buck, but I can pack out elk on the 3rd..... Well, if my wife will let me out on her birthday

yea that unit you are talking about, 95% of the hunters don't leave the trail, I have seen many good animals in that unit, but i'm always up there with my bow and never can seem too close the deal with the bow, but I will be trying for elk after the 10th with my bow.....

Unit 39 has some excellent bucks and bulls. I was chukar hunting Jan 1st and saw the biggest bull on the hoof I'd ever seen up high off the middle fork.
