Your making me feel bad about the bear. I had my taxi due my rug 6.6 and it came in at 1250. He's now doing a full body mount and said it's going to be around 3k but I could think of any other way to due him at 496lbs and a skull at 22 5/8

Little brother's moose was going to be $2200, so he decided on a euro for $250 real quick. Besides, he wasn't largess anyway.

Lost two mounts when bugs got in the hair at our vacation home. Have mounted one head since and the other 15 since then are Euros. Cost less and bugs are of zero concern. I kept the skull caps as tossed the two destroyed mounts and set one in a replica skull and looks okay if stay on other side of the room. Probably toss the other skull cap set of antlers. Was my first muzzleloader deer and in velvet. I figure my wife will toss out the mounts on the way home from the funeral but she might bedazzle a few of the skulls when she turns the garage into the Woman Cave.

Nothing wrong with euros. I am of the same mindset as you. They also travel a lot easier if you are moving frequently.

Shoulder mount cost:
Deer/antelope: 795.
Elk: 1395
moose: 1650
All work completed in 3-5 months

Your prices for deer and elk are right on, but I think you're cutting yourself light on moose!
