I'd also say that it depends on if you're interested in whitetails or mule deer. Being that your profile says you're in Michigan, I'll assume you're most interested in chasing mule deer? If so, you've already been given some great advice, so I'll only add that if whitetails pique your interest, you might consider the third week as they seem to rut later than the mule deer. I probably prefer mule deer but no way would I pass up a good whitetail. I just love hunting the west and try to do a trip every year
