You got some pretty nice shots there! What lens were you using, a 70-200?

Nice shots! I saw an archery kill from mid-august a couple of years ago that still had large mats of old hair on it. I'm like Randy, and figured they would be shed by August.

What lens were you using, a 70-200?
Nikkor 18-200... I know not the best, but I only have to carry one lens and I haven't felt like spending money on better ones yet.

I would've guessed they'd be done shedding by now.
We were in there climbing and denied our summit due to unexpected ice on the route (all the ice climbing gear was left at home). On the way out, some other climbers told us it was the coldest MT summer in 10 years. Not sure if that had anything to do with the goats not fully shed by now.
