Laramie, WY area mule deer?

I am looking at hunting public in the Laramie area for antelope and deer. We are planning on hunting antelope first and only have 1PP, so that is why I am looking at the Laramie area. Then we would focus on deer. Should I try to continue hunting mule deer in the area or go somewhere else. Again we only have 1 PP for antelope and deer. This would be a region D tag for deer. Maybe a numbered deer unit depending on the draw odds. Or should we just head West after pronghorn. Thanks for any advice.

Hey Gone Fishing, I'm thinking about putting in for Region D this year as well. I like that you can hunt the 10-day opener on the Snowies, and then hunt north in the Shirley/Pathfinder area if you come up empty. The northern units seem to have a lot better success rates in D General.

How was your hunt? I'd be happy to pick your brain and share some of my ideas for where to check out via PM.
