Has anyone fished for kokanee on the deadmans basin? I'd like to do a trip up there and do some ice fishing here this week. I spent half the day today fishing around the power lines up near the causeway and walked a ways back around the bend on helena. Only caught 1 cigar sized walleye. Tried using maggots and earth worms that I bought from sportsmans. Tried a green ice fishing jig and then switched to a black and pink. Marked fish over dozen times on my vexilar which only made it more frustrating. I walked quite a ways and counted about 8 to 10 perch that had been flayed out from 2 guys on 4 wheelers from earlier that morning. I open to anyone who has any tips on lakes where i can catch either perch, kokanee, or walleye. Thanks
