Is for Murphree Wildlife Mgmt Area's Big Hill Unit for 9/12-14/2008. Anyone ever hunt there for gators? Any advice?

No advice....just questions. Never heard of actually drawing a tag for Alligator. My friends down in Alabama just call the exterminator when they have gators at thier lake house.
What do you kill them with? Or do you just wrestle them and tie thier mouth shut?

COOL!!! I keep striking out in GA draw. Didn't know TX was allowing hunting.
What do the regs require on hunting in TX? In GA, you have to harpoon first, play them down, tow in and then shoot them, usually with a pistol but some use shotguns or even bows. In LA you can hang out a baited line, come back and if a gator has hooked himself, whack that mudder. I think FL requires harpooning with a buoy first.
