Is He A Shooter?

Saw this brown today. What do ya think? Is he a shooter or what?

I don't think she is. long legs, pointy snout, not big, probably a sow.

If you didn't shoot it, I would have to say "nay". It's kind of hard with nothing to size it with in the pictures. I thought there was only hills where you live?

I didn't shoot it cause it was on private land feeding in a field. I had to slam on the brakes and grab the binos because he had the size and the look of a grizz. These pics are clipped off of the video and I had the digital zoom maxed because he was a good 250+ yards away. I have no doubt that this bear is a shooter. He is very big.

I'm heading out today with the kids to see what we can find to shoot. The kids are really excited. I don't really want to kill anything under 6' but if the kids see one that they want their ol' man to kill, I may just be cutting my first tag today. Can always save my second tag for the big 'uns.
