Idaho unit 1 vs 4a late season

Hey all,

I did some mule deer hunting in the salmon zone a week ago and stuck out. I was thinking of heading back but I can’t go until thanksgiving week. It looks like 1 and 4a are units where my general tag is still good. Anyone have any opinions on these two units? I see one has a much higher success rate, but both have a lot of public land. I’m not after a trophy, but more qty. 30hrs of driving will lower anyone’s standards

If you’re looking for mule deer I wouldn’t waste the time making the drive.

Sorry I should have clarified, white tails or mule deer. Only requirement is 4 legs and fluffy tail.
