Now that the app period is open it has got me thinking about antelope units. We hunted Wyoming last year in a good unit and had an absolute blast, looking over many goats. I have never drawn a tag in Idaho for one. I wish that we could maintain a population much bigger than what we have currently, as I can't think of a more fun hunt to do.

Anyone have any Idaho goat pictures to post? Big or small, doesn't matter.

Here's an Idaho 'lope from a few years ago.

I shot this one at 8 yards with a muzzleloader in Idaho during the 2002 season. My first antelope ever.

I had one of the biggest goats I've seen in a while about 70 yards outside my kitchen window but when I ran for a camera he took off. I have some 60 second cell phone video of 2 bucks fighting about 150 yards out my back window if anyone knows how I can post it I will.

Took these pics, admittedly not very well, of what I'd consider a very good pronghorn that may have been in ID. We were very close to the state line, so I'm not 100% sure he was in ID at the time, but I'd bet he spent some time there... ;)
