Shot this'n near dark & tracked about 80 yards into thick brush. It stood up three feet from me...& made the heart beat a bit faster.

That will make some good sausage, its healthy meat for sure! Way to go.

I know a guy who drug a shot "dead" hog under his tripod and then continued to hunt. About 15 min. later the hog got up and left and he never saw it again. They are amazing.

..tasty but tough. Best bet is to split & slow smoke a side at a time & invite a bunch of polite friends to partake.
