Help with map recon

I’m hoping to draw an archery tag for Fall black bear for unit 65 in Southwest Colorado this year. I would appreciate any advice you guys can offer while doing my map recon, like what altitudes or terrain the bears might favor during the first week or two of September. Do you expect the bears will be sticking to the creeks? Thanks!
