Hey guys, we need your help!
The AZ Game & Fish just released a survey because the hunt guidelines are up for review. In 2006 they adopted a management strategy to INCREASE hunter opportunity by decreasing the overall Mule Deer herd(mature bucks). They manage most of the units at or below 10-20 bucks per 100 does & we want them to manage for a healthier herd. So, we are trying to get them to bump it up to 25 bucks per 100 does. The Strip & Kaibab are two of the three exceptions.

They have a question that is VERY misleading and it states, "Would you rather kill a trophy animal or go hunting more?" . IMO this is not the question any of US can answer. The bottom line is I want to hunt, as much as possible, but I want a quality experience. I don't need to kill a 200 muley every hunt or a 400 inch bull, but I want to see a healthy herd & have a quality experience.
