Got my first catfish

through the ice it went just shy of 22".... along with about 10 other's all in the same day..... thanks too Brittany Chukarman for the ice report..... had a great time, between 3 of us we probably got 20 catfish.... and a ton of 5" crappie's....

and I also caught my first smallmouth through the ice the day before... 17 1/2" on 6 lb. test was a blast.... all cat's were caught on 6 lb line also....

We caught one through the ice 3 years ago - craziest thing ever seeing the whiskers pop through the hole. Had a excpected a 10lb trout - 5 lb cat. Kudos duck-slayer.

Not a real cat fan nor ice fishing fan though pulling those cats from a slushy hole would sure reduce the thought of sitting on a block of ice...
