This is my first post. I have read regularly the Hunt Talk section during the past month. I am currently very interested in the accountability issue in Utah in regard to SFW. I think the RMEF is right on.
I have worked with Big Fin and Ben Lamb in numerous meetings over the years. They are always the most knowledgeable people in the room.
But my first post is about Escort Shotguns. I noticed they and Howa are now sponsors of OYOA. Here is my unsolicited Escort Shotgun story:. I'm watching Cad Belding on the Fowl Life and I notice he is shooting a LEFT handed Escort. This is two years ago. I call them up and say, "I want one." They say he has the only one-a prototype. I say take it from him and sell it to me! They laugh.
but we keep in touch;they provide excellent service and I buy one of the first 3.5 inch guns they bring to Montana. I have run nearly 500 rounds through it and it has only failed to load 3 shells. It shoots 1 ounce loads very well.
Left handed gas operated shotguns are hard to find.
I recommend this shotgun without any reservation so far.
