Elk with shotgun?

Personally, I don't get my kids into filling tags like this. That is just me, and me only. If it is anything like the one I filled last year with a shotgun, it is nothing but a freezer filler that removes elk from areas they shouldn't be. No "hunting" involved. I understand that from the start. That being said, I would use a shotgun instead of any archery equipment to minimize the chance of a hit elk causing trouble with adjacent landowners. I have the same tag I filled last year right now. Not sure I'm gonna use it. mtmuley
