Take a couple pounds of elk steak, trim any fat or grissel & cut in to 4 or 5 oz pieces.
Season em with some seasoning salt & black pepper and roll em in flour.
Into a covered baking dish 7" X 9", dump a 14 oz can of stewed tomato chunks, a 4 oz can of mushroom pieces, a cut up onion and what ever else sounds good.
Toss in the elk steak pieces and bake it at 350% for 90 min.
Serve with mashed potatos.

Also works good in a baking bag, and/or with packeged swiss steak seasoning mix.

That sounds really good and easy

That sounds good Anaconda.

Here is how we make Swiss steak. We cut our meat like abouve and brown meat in frying pan.We use a crock pot and use 3 cans of Golden Mushroom soup in it for your gravy.Chop up an onion and some garlic.Cook until meat is done.Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetable of your choice,we normally have corn with this dish.
