Dumb question

I hunt a field about 8 inches of water depth. No ice right now. It's 34 currently and getting down to 20 tonight. High 37 tomorrow and low 25 Friday night.

How much ice should I expect on Saturday morning? Thin enough to break with boots or need atv? Or don't bother... Thanks!

Boots should be ok. Any wind will help prevent it from freezing too.

Sunny or cloudy? You might have a skim layer but busting it up will be easy!
If you’re setting decoys, bring a rake to really open a big hole up.

Looks mostly sunny tomorrow so maybe will help as well. Cloudy on Saturday but will have to leave by like 10am anyway.
