Drawing the line

It is heartening that there are others around the world that think along similar lines, IE conservation, protection of public lands, bi-partisan politics, budget funding etc.

I saw this article on Twitter yesterday http://www.radionz.co.nz/national/p...ed-dry-central-otago-farmers'-fight-for-water

It sums up the battles between commerce, primary production, water availability, conservation and politics.

My thoughts are that we need to be smarter and more efficient in production but overriding this I am really starting to think there is a need to start looking at new economic models. I does not take a rocket scientist to realize that with finite resources the model of continual economic growth, in the traditional sense, is doomed to failure, sucking everyone down the plug hole with it.
