DIY muley Idaho hunt

Im planning on doing a backcountry DIY mule deer hunt in Idaho next year and im trying to figure out where to go. Any thoughts?

Idaho huh.... you live in MT, I would start there, also if you dead set on Idaho, grab a bunch of maps look for wilderness or compare too the road restriction maps that the forest service and fish and game have, good luck,
