Looking at the MR Pintler or the KUIU ICON 1850/2200. A single day/overnight pack that can haul a bivy for camp and a deer out of camp for a couple of miles. What's your choice?

I just swapped from a kuiu to a MR Pintler, one bear hunt and i like the pintler better but its definately heavier. Truley cant form a opinion till fall but kuiu pack started pissing me off, nothing severe but things needed improved

What were your issues with the KUIU? I tried a Pintler on at Scheels and carried my 5 year old (50lbs) around the store for a while and it was a nice bag. But for a daypack option it is a little heavy. The KUIU seems to offer a little more versatility.

I have a MR Pintler and it will do all that I need for a day trip or even an overnight. Plenty of room and very comfortable.
