I shot mine last Thursday @ about 120 yards. came over a ridge and he was bedded there looking at me and spooked but thankfully at the same time another buck was coming from the opposite direction and stopped him in his tracks

My son shot his Sunday evening. we were headed home when we spotted his group a couple hundred yards from the property line. we circled up and over but got a little past him so we started to back track a little when I guess he spotted us and came to investigate...he came up to about 40 yards rubbing on brush and making a couple scrapes...when he got to around 40 he realized he might have made a mistake but he was head on. blew a couple times at us and started to go. a couple whistles and he stopped at around 50 yards broadside and my son dropped him.. awesome experience for the both of us.
