My buddy and I will be driving through Denver to Glenwood Springs for our September Muzzle Loader hunt. Is there any Outdoor stores that are worth while to stop at on our way out West that would have paper maps?

GJ and Denver both have a Cabela's and Sportsman's Warehouse. There is also a Bass Pro, Gander Mountain, and Dick's in the Denver area. Honestly though map selection can be limited in the stores. Depending on what you are looking for you might be better off ordering online.

get your maps before you leave, as ishootsmallones said, maps are really hit and miss at all outdoor stores. I can tell you that if you run up the road a bit farther through Rifle that Timberline Sporting Goods has good maps of the local areas

If you have some time to kill though, I would stop at Bass Pro Shops outside of Denver just to look around.
