Colorado ELK Archery GMU 551

I am new to this GMU and need some guidance. I scouted the Black Sage Pass and north of Whitepine. Black Sage looked like the Elk had been there in the winter. I saw some scat in one of the camp site but that was it. I also checked out north of Whitepine and on the left side it was hot. Fresh scat all over the place near the tomachi creek. Also checked out the Daly Gulch. Saw some freah scat up on top in one of the camp sites.

Can someone provide me with ehich area is best for the Archery Season?
