the pic wasn't taken around RS. There isn't quality bulls like that left out there in the dunes. I've gave up even going out in that country.

Its a snowicane outside right now.

You could have fooled me. It sure did a good impression of the dunes country. What happened to the good bulls there from when we were growing up?

I think the increased in the # of bull tags the last 5 years has really hurt the trophy quality of that area. It's a sensitive herd that is now being managed for quantity not quality.

I remember when you used to be able to go out there and see lots of 340-350 class bulls. Now you see a lot of 260-280 class.

They don't have the opp. to reach trophy quality anymore.

It used to be fun going out there and picking up 20+ elk sheds a day with most of them being decent bulls. Now you go out there and you're finding rags.
