Co. unit 55 2nd choice

anyone know if I would draw a unit 55 archery tag as a 2nd choice??This is another option I'm thinking of for me and my son to do an elk hunt this year.I know the unit pretty good and hunted it before it went to a draw.Can't beat a $100 elk tag for my son either
I just can't burn my 5 points for this hunt so it has to be 2nd choice.I'm still building for a middle of the road elk hunt there

According to Hunters Trailhead there has been between 400 - 500 tags remaining each year for the last 4 years. So I believe the answer would be yes you can.

That boy doesn't appreciate how lucky he is,lol.He did kill a good buck that Dad pushed out to him.I'm ok with it though as I'd rather have him hunting then other stupid things kids get into.And hes a real good shot now.We'll see what happens when I call in an elk for him at 20 yards.I bet I'll feel the ground shaking from him then,lol
