Co. 1st rifle gmu 521 "the raggeds"

I am looking for advice on hunting the "RAGGEDS WILDERNESS" area in GMU 521 during the 1st rifle season. Looking for a DYI/SOLO back country experience. I am planning to hike in one of 2 trail heads 2 days early and be ready opening morning. Can anyone tell me how much outfitter traffic is in the area? Better to come in from the south or the north as far as ease of ingress? Anybody ever hunted that area can give any tips and lastly, a recommendation for a packer "WHEN" I get something on the ground?
