Here’s a few of our lake trout from the Boundary Waters last week. We didn’t catch any real big trout but lots of 4-10 pounders, which are a blast in a canoe. Plenty of evening walleyes as well.

Awesome! Best tasting fish in MN! Good fighters if you catch them jigging, too.
 
I know I'm resurrecting a old thread but you've got me curious what magic you use to consistently catch Lakers in the BW I'm jealous!! I have tried and tried to do so and seem to only do it as by catch for other stuff.
I've tried deep. I have tried early. Its like I am cursed to wonder around in a canoe chasing these things like a mini Ahab.
