Early this season, my youngest son Hunter told me that he wanted to do a diver hunt and this past weekend we made it happen...and oh my I am hooked! If you haven't done this type of waterfowling you owe it to yourself to do it at least once!

Surpised the heck out of me but delicious!

Before we cleaned all of them I picked out a big drake with white fat and pan-seared two of the breasts with the skin on. Call me crazy but they were not fishy at all and ate as good as any puddler except for maybe a Greenwing or Sprig.
