Beeper collar conditioning?

Hey all. Just ordered a dogtra 2500 beeper collar for my wirehaired Griffon. Was looking for some advice on how I should introduce him to the collar/the beeping sound. I plan on running the collar to beep on point only. Also, what are folks opinions on the hawk scream as opposed to the beep? Thanks!!

I set it up a distance from the kennel for short periods. When I put it on the dogs, I stuffed cotton balls in the megaphone and covered in tape while running them. As they grew accustomed, I reduced the stuffing to increase volume. For my girls the beeper collar was worse than gun conditioning, so go slow. Good luck

Thanks Foxtrot, gun conditioning was no problem for my dog, hopefully the beeper collar will follow suit. Any opinions on the hawk scream?
