Thank Montana TU, RMEF, MWF & Wood Products Assn for working these new forestry positions & programs hard during the last session. Thank legislators like Jeff Welborn, Duane Ankney, Janet Ellis, Jimmy Keane, Joe Read & Ken Homlund as well. That budget subcommittee worked with everyone who showed up to get this done.

And thank Steve Bullock for pushing forward on GNA hard.

For those interested, there will probably be a capture attempt on the sheep down there this year. That's a cool part of conservation to be part of.

@Kaitum and I watched what I think is the biggest ram I've seen in Montana within the boundaries of this project. I kept watching the FWP harvest measurements for him, but as far as I know he was never killed by a hunter.

The increase in browse will do those sheep and deer well.

I still dream about that ram, his dark chocolate horns were incredible.

On a professional level, happy to be part of making this project happen.
